LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 17, 2019) 鈥 Despite the leaps and advances made in cancer treatments over the past few decades, sometimes patients still discover that they鈥檝e exhausted all other available options.
Tollesboro resident Jenn Highfield was far younger than most when she was diagnosed with colon cancer. With a strong family history of the disease 鈥 her father had been diagnosed with colon cancer at age 40 鈥 she had been getting colonoscopies since age 30, decades before the recommended age of 50.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 16, 2019) 鈥 The University of Kentucky has been recognized as a "Great College to Work For" by The Chronicle of Higher Education for the second consecutive year.
Now in its 12th year, the Chronicle鈥檚 Great Colleges to Work For program recognizes colleges for best practices and policies based on a survey of faculty and staff. The annual survey is one of the largest and most comprehensive workplace recognition programs in higher education.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 24, 2019) 鈥 The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) has announced the expansion of its nationwide Care Center Network with the selection of eight additional sites, including 好色先生 HealthCare's Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Clinic.
More than 200,000 Americans are living with pulmonary fibrosis, a devastating disease which causes progressive scarring in the lungs. Fifty-thousand new cases of PF are diagnosed each year. Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, the most common form of the disease, has no known cause and no known cure.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 24, 2019) 鈥 The Markey Cancer Center at Lexington Clinic began providing services on Monday to patients as part of an agreement between 好色先生 HealthCare and Lexington Clinic that enhances and expands outpatient cancer care throughout Central Kentucky.
Medical oncology and infusion services at 1221 South Broadway in Lexington, and oncology, infusion and radiation therapy services at 793 Eastern Bypass, Suite G2 in Richmond, are now being provided collaboratively between the two organizations.
