The ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú College of Medicine Urology Department this past week hosted the Edward Hunt Ray, Sr. Visiting Professorship in Urology, featuring several ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú urology students presenting cases from their own experiences at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú as well as several talks from Chandru Sundaram, MD. Dr. Sundaram is a Welch professor of urology and vice chair program director at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
This annual event lines up with Urology's graduation ceremony, where this year two chief residents graduated. Dr's Matt Newsome and Jackie Morin were both celebrated at the Spindletop Hall ceremony, with Dr. Newsome heading to private practice and Dr. Morin moving on towards a fellowship in pediatric urology at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
