  • Derek Allison, MD Asma Arshia, MBBS, Faisal Hassan, MD and Pat Hensley, MD have an article coming out in the November edition of Cytopathology.  The article is titled 鈥淯rinary tract cytology showing variant morphology and divergent differentiation鈥.  Excellent work and congratulations to all!
  • Greg Davis, MD was recently featured in for reflections on his career in medicine and at 好色先生. We are very proud of Dr. Davis and all his contributions over the years!
  • Jing Di, MD, PhD has been selected to be a Co-Moderator for the session 鈥淭he Use of Genomic Biomarkers for Check-Point Inhibitor Response Assessment:  A Discussion of Two Trials and Biomarkers鈥 at the AMP Annual Meeting and Expo in Salt Lake City, Utah in November, 2023.  Great work!
  • Jing Di, MD, PhD, Leo Yenwongfai, MD and Shulin Zhang鈥檚, MD, PhD poster, 鈥淰alidation of QuantStudio 3D Digital PCR Assay for Monitoring Minimal Residual Disease in Acute Myeloid Leukemia鈥 has been selected as a candidate for the 2023 Young Investigator Poster Award at the AMP Annual Meeting and Expo in Salt Lake City, Utah in November, 2023.  Congratulations to all!
  • Aaron Shmookler, MD recently published a chapter titled 鈥淢olecular Diagnostics for Coagulopathies鈥 in Diagnostic Molecular Pathology (Second Edition):  A Guide to Applied Molecular Testing.  Congratulations Dr. Shmookler!
  • Shulin Zhang, MD, PhD is the Co-I (PI is Dr. Yalniz) on the proposal 鈥Impact of Stem Cell Mobilization and High-Dose Melphalan Conditioning on Hematopoietic Clonal Expansion/Evolution after Autologous Cell Transplantation for Multiple Myeloma鈥, which has won the Markey Cancer Center Peter and Carmen Lucia Bunk Translational Research Award.  Great work Dr. Zhang!
  • Keeneland Magazine recently published an article highlighting the work of the 鈥淧roject Inherited Cancer Risk鈥 (PICR) clinical study, which is given significant support from both the Genomics Laboratory and the BPTP-SRF, both of which are managed by pathology faculty and staff.  Please see the link - and scroll to page 104 for the article.  Wonderful work, congratulations to our teams!
