Changcheng Zhou's R21 grant awarded funding
Changcheng Zhou, PhD, assistant professor of Pharmacology and Nutritional Sciences, has received funding for an NIH R21 grant: "Mechanisms of atherogenic effects of bisphenol A," for the period April 1, 2014 - March 31, 2016. Dr. Zhou joined the faculty of University of Kentucky in 2010. He also holds an adjunct faculty position at Rockefeller University, NY. The main focus of Dr. Zhou鈥檚 laboratory is to investigate the molecular mechanisms of atherosclerosis and metabolic disorders.
Dr. Zhou published an article, in the May 2014 issue of the Journal of Experimental Medicine (JEM), Rockefeller University Press. The significance of the work done in Dr. Zhou's lab percipitated the article that was highlighted in a . The article was also featured in Science Daily, MedicalXpress, Newswise, Scicasts, Medical News, Bioon.com, Diagnostic and Interventional, Cardiology, and the Journal of Cell Biology.
