After entering the lab in 2021, Dr. Colson chose to study age-associated B cells, and their role in the post-stroke brain. She successfully defended her thesis on June 12!

Edric Winford Dissertation Defense
This is a photo at the end of Dr. Winford鈥檚 successful PhD defense on February 7, 2024. Dr. Winford鈥檚 thesis focused on the role of amylin/T2D dysregulation of the immune system. We miss him every day, but are wishing him best of luck at his Postdoc at Columbia!
